    • Example: 1/4 of 20 → 5 × 1 = 5.

  • 1/2 of 16: 16 ÷ 2 = 8, and 8 × 1 = 8. So, 1/2 of 16 is 8.
  • 2/3 of 18: 18 ÷ 3 = 6, and 6 × 2 = 12. So, 2/3 of 18 is 12.
