🎯 1. Understanding 24-Hour Time

  • The 24-hour clock runs from 00:00 (midnight) to 23:59.
  • It doesn’t use AM or PM — the hours keep counting after 12:00 noon.
    • 00:00 = Midnight
    • 12:00 = Noon
    • 13:00 = 1:00 PM
    • 23:00 = 11:00 PM

🕒 2. Converting Between 12-Hour and 24-Hour Time

  • Morning (AM) times stay the same, just add a 0 in front if needed:
    • 7:30 AM → 07:30
    • 10:45 AM → 10:45
  • Afternoon (PM) times add 12 to the hour:
    • 1:00 PM → 13:00
    • 6:15 PM → 18:15
    • 11:59 PM → 23:59

  • Train schedules, flight times, TV programs, and timetables often use 24-hour time for clarity.
